Job Description District Treatment/Alternate

Duties and Qualifications:

• Serves as the district liaison with the local intergroup (central office), and area treatment facilities committee.
• Supports the Group Treatment Representative  to help hospital and treatment center staffs better understand A.A., and to take the A.A. tools of recovery to alcoholics in treatment.
• Attend District and Area Committee meeting, where information is shared on what is working and what is not working.
• As part of the Bridging the Gap program (Temporary Contact) T.F. committee members also may act as contacts when alcoholic patients are discharged.
